I received a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a minor in English. I was on the Dean's list, and studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic, and Madrid, Spain.

II earned my juris doctorate from the Dedman School of law at SMU, where I was also awarded the Dean's scholarship, and  was on the Vis International Commerical Moot Arbitration Team and competed in Vienna Austria. I studied abroad in Oxfored, England. After graduation I clerked for Arkansas Supreme Court Justice, Annabelle Clinton Imber.
